Emelie’s original paintings are created with high quality oil paint from Holbain, Old Holland and Gamblin and her brushes are exclusively from Rosemary and Co. Her paintings have a beautiful mixture of thickly applied layers of paint combined with invisible brushstrokes which creates a dramatic finish. Each piece takes approximately 100-150 hours to create.

Even though Emelie has a meticulous way of portraying the physique of the horses, her main focus lies on the expression and personality of each individual horse.
